Built for lifters, not gymgoers.
I opened Ironfield in 2016 because every commercial gym I'd ever been to had the same problem: they were built for people who hate going to the gym. Mirrors. TVs everywhere. A million machines. No barbells, or just one you had to fight for.
So we built the opposite: a room with 10 barbells, 12 lifting platforms, 8 power racks, and nothing else. No TVs. No mirrors (well, one). No membership cards. No spin classes.
Nine years later, we're still small on purpose. 8-person class cap. Three coaches. 2,400 members who've come through the door. If you want to get actually strong, this is the room to do it in.
